As-salaam alaykum wa rahamatullah wa barakatuhu! Why are you (still) single yah Akhi/Ukhti (brother/sister)? Most people would say don’t be picky. We say maintain your standard(s). Don’t settle. It’s better to remain single (for a while) than to end up in a bad marriage. The prophet (SAW) said: 'Marry for the following reason: the deen, beauty, wealth and linage. The best of all is for the deen'. So, why would you now marry outside your deen? Many say s/he is ready to revert. No Akhi/Ukhti, marry someone who is a revert (already back in the deen); not one who wants to revert for the single reason of marrying you. That is a transgression we must avoid. May Allah grant us the best of spouses fiddunya wal akhirah (in this world and in the hereafter), Allahuma Aameen! Ma'as-Salaam!
